Painter

On behalf of our client, we’re looking for a full-time experienced Painter.

This role will be required to perform various façade building repairs and installations to the façade of high rise building both Commercial and Residential. This will include preparing of various surfaces, including removal of redundant paint, identifying any failures in the surfaces and repaid of these surfaces, selection and application of pain coatings, removal and repaid of window frames and adjacent areas.

The daily duties and responsibilities include:

• Preparing surfaces and work areas for painting

• Selecting and preparing paint for application

• Apply pain using a variety of tools

• Cleaning tools and work areas

• Quote new business façade remediation services

• Form key relationship with suppliers, building managers, subcontractors, clients and engineers

• Coordinating with engineers in relation to work methods and approvals of work complete

• Ensure all staff including yourself acknowledge and adhere to Heigh Safety regulations

• Scheduling regular maintenance for tools and equipment

Education – Possession of relevant Certificate III qualification, and/or relevant employment experience

Experience & Skills

• Holding a current IRATA licence is essential to this role – applicants who do not have this will not be considered

• Management and Scheduling of staff skills

• Ability to prioritise and control workload arising from a broader user base

• Ability to work constructively and collaboratively in a team environment

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment

Salary: Salary being offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience, with a range between $79,423 – $95,000.
