Industrial Engineer – Full time position available in all states NSW, Qld, Vic, & WA

We service our customers in all states of Australia through multiple businesses in our portfolio: NEPEAN Building and Infrastructure (Galserv, Galintel, Weldlok), NEPEAN Engineering and Innovation, NEPEAN Power, Mining (NEPEAN Longwall), PROK, NEPEAN Conveyors, NEPEAN Transport, Gurtec, Roxon, and NEPEAN Belting Mackay.

The Right Person will:

Analyse workflows within and across all departments to determine how the entire company can work better together

Review production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information

Review the KPI monitoring systems and determine ways to improve their ability to maintain company operations

Create an analytical process that justifies business decisions

Design production processes that maximise efficiency and reduce waste

Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades

Analyse capital expenditures and project designs to help find ways to cut costs

Maintain an updated outlook on all associated business costs and deliver a quarterly report on pertinent industry trends to the management team

Revise work practices to improve efficiency, boost quality and meet production goals

Provide visibility of every touch point on each consignment to identify duplication of effort and inefficiencies

Implement lean manufacturing principles that improve workflow efficiency, decreasing waste

Analyse production data to identify trends and variances, providing actionable insights that informed decision-making and strategy development

The Right Person will:

Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required

Relevant work experience

Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and presentation skills

Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Documentation and organization skills

Proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time study and process balancing

Skills
