Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
Employment Type: Full -Time (38 hours per week)

We currently looking for an experience SHEETMETAL WORKER to join our team in Sydney NSW.
Tasks and duties:
• Working with a variety of metals including steel, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, galvanized steel, and fiberglass insulation.
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling sheet metal ducts.
• Repairing damaged sheet metal components by studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements, materials, and equipment needed.
• Selecting metal stock such as stainless steel, galvanized iron, mild steel, aluminium, and copper, and verifying sizes, gauges, and dimensions against specifications.
• Marking metal stock with reference points and lines using templates, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Shaping and forming cut metal stock into products using folding and bending machines, rollers, presses, and hammers.
• Fitting and assembling components into final products through welding, riveting, soldering, brazing, and other joining methods.
• Finishing products by polishing, filing, sanding, and cleaning assembled items.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Certificate III or IV or diploma in related fields
• Proven at least 5 years’ experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or similar role
• Proficiency in working with various metals and understanding their properties.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools, as well as metalworking machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle and work with heavy materials.
