Monitoring & Payments Sr Testing Specialist

The role involves designing, automating, and executing tests across web applications, APIs, and backend services while leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate test creation, improve coverage, and enhance defect detection.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and backend services.

Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to generate test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business requirements and user stories.

Utilize Generative AI tools to accelerate test design, regression suite creation, and exploratory testing activities.

Validate both front-end and back-end functionality, including REST APIs, databases, and service integrations.

Execute automated and manual test cases and maintain test documentation and test artifacts.

Analyze test execution results, identify root causes of failures, and distinguish between application defects, environment issues, and test script failures.

Implement and maintain reusable, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Work with defect management tools to log, track, prioritize, and resolve defects.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.

Apply AI-driven techniques for test optimization, risk-based testing, and defect prediction.

Report testing progress, quality metrics, and risks through daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and project meetings.

Participate in functional, integration, regression, UI, API, database, and end-to-end testing activities.

Mandatory Skills Description:

Core Testing Skills

Strong experience in Test Case Design, Test Planning, and Test Execution.

Experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and Web Application Testing.

Experience validating REST/SOA APIs and backend services.

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and Defect Lifecycle Management.

Experience with database testing and SQL queries.

Automation Skills

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, or similar.

Experience developing automation frameworks using Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

Experience with API automation using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.

AI-Driven Testing Skills

Experience leveraging AI/GenAI tools for test case generation, test data creation, requirement analysis, and test scenario identification.

Ability to use AI assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools) to improve test automation productivity.

Understanding of AI-powered testing concepts such as self-healing automation, intelligent test selection, and risk-based test optimization.

Ability to validate and refine AI-generated test artifacts to ensure quality and business relevance.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain.

Knowledge of Test Management tools such as Azure Test Plans, Jira, Xray, or Zephyr.

Experience with Performance Testing and Security Testing concepts.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Understanding of AI/ML testing techniques and validation of AI-powered applications.
