Finance Officer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Finance Officer to join our Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career in finance while gaining exposure across financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, compliance and financial analysis.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Corporate Financial Controller, you will support the day-to-day finance function and contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including accounts payable month-end reporting.

Support month-end and year-end financial close processes and ensure reporting deadlines are met.

Maintain and review General Ledger accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.

Assist with interim and full-year external audits by preparing financial schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation.

Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors to provide information and resolve accounting queries.

Assist with the preparation and lodgement of BAS, Payroll Tax and FBT.

Prepare quarterly ABS surveys and bi-annual PTRS reporting.

Assist with cash flow forecasts, budgets and financial projections.

Analyse expenditure and operational costs to support effective cost control and financial planning.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of Finance processes and procedures.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is organised, analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative Finance team. Ideally, you will possess or be nearing completion of tertiary qualifications in accounting.
