About the role:

Assist Speech Pathologists in delivering therapy to children in various settings (home, school and clinic).

Provide individualised support to children, focusing on enhancing their communication skills and independence.

Help in creating, implementing and monitoring therapy plans to ensure positive outcomes.

Document progress and assist with assessments and reports, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of each child’s abilities.

Work closely with families, providing support and actively listening to their needs and goals.

Be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, helping to create an integrated approach to care.

Essential criteria:

Relevant qualification (eg. Allied Health Assistance) or upcoming qualification in the field of Speech Pathology.

Experience working as an Allied Health Assistant for Speech Pathologists or Speech Pathology Assistant is desirable but not required.

NSW driver's license and own transport

Excellent communication skills

Ability to follow a therapy plan as delegated by a therapist and respond to feedback.
