Electrical Engineering Technician

Job Description:

Cyber Computer Recycling and Disposal Pty Ltd is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineering Technician to join our experienced team based in Canningvale, WA. This is a full-time role offering a wide variety of work across residential, commercial, and industrial sites throughout Western Australia. You'll be part of a collaborative crew working on installations, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to a high standard of safety and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and fit-outs in residential and commercial environments

• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, switchboards, motors, and control panels

• Conduct routine maintenance, testing, and inspections of electrical systems and equipment

• Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and technical documentation

• Install and maintain conduits, wiring, and circuit protection systems to code

• Ensure compliance with all relevant Australian electrical standards and safety regulations

• Complete job documentation, service reports, and compliance certificates accurately

• Communicate professionally with clients and team members on-site

• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition

Requirements

• Current WA Electrical License (preferred)

• Proven experience in electrical installation, service, and maintenance

• Solid understanding of AS/NZS 3000 and related electrical standards

• Strong fault-finding skills and problem-solving ability

• Commitment to safety and quality work practices

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good time management and communication skills
