About the Role

We are seeking reliable, hardworking candidates to join our team in Brinkley. You will be involved in de packaging operations, materials handling, and general site duties. This is a great opportunity for ongoing work with potential for extension based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting, storing, and moving stock and materials

• Operating de packaging machinery safely and efficiently

• Sorting and processing recycled packaging items

• Performing quality control checks on processed materials

• General cleaning of machinery, work areas, and shed floors

• Following all workplace health and safety protocols and guidelines

• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth, safe operations

• Completing other reasonable duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to meet the physical demands of the role

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Strict commitment to workplace safety and following procedures

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic

• Available Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; flexibility for overtime

• Eager to learn, willing to undertake training, and open to development

• Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the workplace

Hours & Remuneration

• Standard Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Overtime / weekend work: Offered in advance and subject to individual approval

• Minimum guarantee: 30 hours per week

• Pay: Rates apply under the Waste Management Award & Garden - Nursery Award

• Payment frequency: Weekly
