LTD. is seeking an experienced, analytical, and highly organized Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory financial reporting, compliance, and budget forecasting. You will work closely with management to review internal controls, optimize commercial operations, and support strategic decision-making. Key Duties and Responsibilities Aligned with ANZSCO 221111 (Accountant - General) : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow projections in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.

Formulate, maintain, and review budgetary controls, cash flow forecasts, and accounting policies. Conduct detailed financial investigations, operating cost analysis, and variance reporting to identify cost efficiencies and monitor business performance. Oversee and ensure compliance with Australian taxation obligations, including preparation and reconciliation of Business Activity Statements (BAS), GST, PAYG, and liaison with external tax agents/auditors.

Maintain, audit, and evaluate internal accounting systems, implementing automated processes and software configurations where necessary. Liaise with banking institutions, creditors, debtors, and statutory authorities regarding financial matters and funding structures. Provide advisory support to senior management regarding commercial contracts, capital expenditure, and risk appraisal.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Commerce, or a closely related discipline (or equivalent recognized overseas qualification). Experience: Minimum of 1 years of accounting experience in a commercial or professional services environment. Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of major accounting platforms (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).

Communication & Compliance: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of Australian tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
