Body Temple Fitness Centre is looking for an experienced and passionate Remedial / Sports Massage Therapist to join our team in a permanent full-time position.

This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who enjoys working with active people, athletes and fitness-minded clients and wants the security and stability of a permanent role within an established boutique fitness centre.

The Role

You will provide high-quality remedial massage, sports massage and recovery treatments to Body Temple members and clients, helping them manage muscular tension, improve mobility and movement, recover from training and perform at their best.

We are particularly interested in therapists with experience or additional skills in:

Remedial massage

Sports massage

Myofascial release

Active Release Techniques (ART)

Trigger point therapy

Mobility and movement-based treatments

Other relevant manual therapy techniques

About You

The successful applicant will ideally have:

Relevant qualifications in Remedial Massage / Massage Therapy

Previous experience working as a massage or sports therapist

A genuine interest in fitness, sport, exercise and human movement

Experience working with active clients, athletes or gym members

Excellent hands-on treatment and assessment skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A professional, friendly and approachable manner

The ability to work independently and manage your own clients

A commitment to providing an exceptional client experience

A willingness to continue developing your skills and knowledge

Body Temple is an independently owned boutique fitness centre located in the heart of Southport.

We have built our reputation around providing a professional, and welcoming environment where members can train, recover and feel part of a community.

You will work alongside experienced Personal Trainers, Exercise Professionals and other health and wellness practitioners, creating opportunities for collaboration and referrals across the business.

$80,000 per year + superannuation

38 hours per week, plus reasonable additional hours where required
