Diesel Mechanic

Border Bandag (Albury) are currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their teams in ALBURY NSW 2640.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on vehicles and other trailer dumps/trucks

- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles, and other trailer dumps/trucks

- Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on vehicles and other trailer dumps/ trucks

- Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on Vehicles, and other trailer dumps/ trucks

Skills & Abilities:

- Ideally have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic

- A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant

- Ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
