TRAFFIC CONTROLLER

Job Description:

We are seeking Licensed Traffic Controllers with a minimum qualification of TCI 1 to join our team for traffic controlling work across multiple sites in South Australia. As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic around construction sites, roadworks, and other designated areas. Your role will involve setting up and managing traffic control equipment, directing vehicles and pedestrians, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and manage traffic control equipment, including signs, barriers, and cones, as per the approved traffic management plan.

Direct and manage the flow of traffic and pedestrians to ensure safety and minimize disruptions.

Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and the public to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor traffic conditions and make adjustments to traffic control measures as required.

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Conduct regular checks on traffic control equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
