We're on the lookout for an experienced Construction Estimator who aligns with our workplace culture of work-life balance and a can-do attitude!

This role is based on the Central Coast of NSW (Tuggerah)

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Prepare and deliver detailed and accurate estimates and cost plans for construction projects (Remedial, New Construction and Civil / Subdivision Works will be highly regarded).

Utilisation of 'Procore' software for project management and estimation tasks.

Demonstrate confidence and capability on the phone when communicating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and team members.

Work independently, thinking creatively to overcome obstacles promptly.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure precise estimations.

Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand project requirements thoroughly.

Keep up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and costs.

Participate in bid / tender meetings and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.

Deliver timely and precise estimates to support project planning and scheduling.

Not be afraid of donning a hard hat, high vis vest and boots for the odd site visit!

Ensure estimates and cost plans are completed on time

The ideal candidate will have:

5+ years of relevant experience or hold other formal qualifications in the same field of work

A strong background in construction estimation, residential civil and subdivision work will be highly regarded.

Proficiency in 'Procore' software for project management and estimation will be highly regarded

Excellent English communication and writing skills

Able to work autonomously and in a team environment

Possesses a problem-solving mindset to overcome challenges quickly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation. Strong background in Construction Estimation and residential civil work highly regarded.

Relevant certifications in building, construction and / or estimation.

Must Have an Australian Drivers Licence or Australian Authority to Drive.

Must Have Rights to Work.

Must Reside within Australia and be willing and able to attend the office. (Foreign-based applicants need not apply)
