Who we are

Fruitico is a dynamic and fast growing business with farms across Australia. We have three table grape farms in Western Australia, located in Hamel, Meelon and Broome. We are looking for skilled leading hands to join our farm team.

About the roles

We are seeking self-motivated and physically fit candidates to fill a total of 50 full-time farm positions we have available between October 2026 and October 2027 across our locations in Meelon and Hamel.

All roles will be full-time with a minimum of 38 hours per week under the Horticulture Award 2020. Work commences between 05:30-07:00am with finishing times varying throughout the season depending on operational requirements and individual responsibilities. Our farms operate 7 days a week during harvest so you may be required to work throughout the week, including weekends (subject to rest days off). All work is performed outdoors.

Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparing vines for harvest

• Picking table grapes

• General farm maintenance

• Leaf plucking

• Planting

• Bunch work

• Pruning

• Working in a packing shed

• Tractor operations

• Forklift operations

• Team supervision

• Skilled maintenance work

• Spraying

• Irrigation

Remuneration

Hourly rate starts at $26.44 per hour. These roles will be classified as Horticulture Grades 1-4 under the Horticulture Award 2020 depending on individual skill, capability, and responsibilities. Some roles may have a leading hand allowance associated with the hourly rate of pay if your role involves supervising other workers.

About you

You must:

• Be ready and available to work throughout the entire period

• Be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical

• Be willing and able to work weekends and overtime as required

• Show initiative and a strong motivation to work

• Be able to follow instructions in relation to job tasks and hygiene

• Be willing to work outdoors

• Have your own local accommodation

• Have your own transport to get to and from work
