Liberties Insurance is in East Victoria Park, where we currently have an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Insurance Agent.

The Role:

We are looking for a new Insurance Agent to add value to our already successful team. You will be fully trained and mentored in company practices. Duties will include:

• Processing insurance quotations, new business, renewals.

• Having initial consultations with new prospects and provide them detailed information on our products according to their requirements

• Guide the clients on different products by comparing them for benefits.

• Assist clients to choose the best suited cover for their needs

• Estimate premiums and establish mode of payment

• Manage insurance claims

• Managing information about clients and their policies

• Identify new leads and contacting them

About You:

To be successful in this role you must be able to:

• Relevant Australian Qualification or Overseas equivalent

• 1-2 years relevant work experience

• Knowledge of general insurance (preferred but not required).

• High level of computer literacy and accuracy with data input.

• Have good communication skill and organisational skills.

• Obtain satisfactory police and ASIC clearances.

• Customer service and the ability to manage your own time well and to targets.

• Teamwork and co-operation.

• Concern for quality, accuracy and efficiency.

• Flexibility, and a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

• Must be reliable.

• Excellent attention to detail.
