Holiday Property Cleaner – Casual

Coastal Vibe Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable casual cleaner to join our small team, primarily assisting with holiday property and Airbnb changeovers throughout the Jervis Bay area.

This role would suit someone looking for flexible casual work who is comfortable with hours varying from week to week. Our workload changes with guest bookings, with more hours generally available during school holidays and busy periods.

About the role

Our holiday property cleans are generally completed between 10am and 3pm and can include:

Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and living areas

Vacuuming and mopping

Making and presenting beds

Changing linen and towels

Restocking guest supplies

Checking properties are clean, tidy and ready for arriving guests

Working independently as well as alongside other team members

This is physical, fast-paced cleaning, so you need to be comfortable being on your feet, making beds, vacuuming, mopping and moving between properties during a shift.

Hours & availability

Hours will vary depending on bookings, generally around 5–15 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours during busy periods.

Most work is during daytime hours.

Some weekend availability is important, particularly Saturdays, however this does not mean working every Saturday or every weekend.

Availability during school holidays and our peak summer period would be highly regarded.

We offer flexibility around availability, with reliability and good communication being important to our small team.

What we're looking for

Reliable with good attention to detail

Able to work efficiently without compromising quality

Comfortable with physically demanding cleaning work

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Cleaning or housekeeping experience is an advantage, but the right attitude and reliability are equally important

Pay

Casual hourly rate of $33.84 per hour, plus applicable penalty rates and superannuation.

Location

Our properties are located throughout the Jervis Bay area, including Huskisson and Vincentia, and employees travel directly to the properties they are rostered to clean.
