Restaurant Manager

Located in Huskisson NSW 2540, Pasta Buoy is a restaurant offering a range of food and beverage options in a casual dining setting. The restaurant is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee its day-to-day operations and become part of its team.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery.

Supervising, training and coordinating front-of-house staff to maintain high standards of service.

Coordinating staff rosters, shift allocations and daily staffing requirements.

Monitoring customer satisfaction and handling customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.

Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety and applicable liquor licensing requirements.

Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and coordinating with suppliers as required.

Monitoring operational costs and assisting with budgeting, cost control and restaurant performance.

Working closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient communication and seamless restaurant operations.

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service throughout the venue.

Overseeing reservations, table service and customer flow during service periods.

Supporting promotional activities and initiatives aimed at improving the restaurant's performance and customer experience.

About You:

At least 1 year of relevant experience in restaurant management or a similar hospitality management role.

Strong leadership, staff supervision and team management skills.

Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Sound knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage service and stock control.

Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety and applicable liquor licensing requirements.

Ability to work effectively in a busy restaurant environment and make decisions under pressure.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Professional presentation and commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time

Salary: AUD $70,000 – $90,000 per annum
