Your new role
As a Landscape Labourer, you will play a key role in the maintenance and improvement of landscaped grounds, parks and outdoor areas. This is a hands-on position involving a variety of labouring, grounds maintenance and landscaping duties.
Working both independently and as part of a team, you will assist with ensuring outdoor spaces are safe, well-presented and maintained to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
Mowing, edging and weed control across parks, gardens and landscaped areas
Trimming hedges, bushes and trees
Watering plants and assisting with fertilising programs
Raking leaves, collecting debris and completing general site clean-ups
Digging holes and trenches for planting and landscaping projects
Planting trees, shrubs, flowers and other vegetation
Laying turf and assisting with garden establishment works
Spreading mulch, soil, gravel and other landscaping materials
Assisting with irrigation repairs and installation of sprinkler components
Loading and unloading tools, equipment and landscaping materials
Operating mowers, brush cutters, blowers and other small plant equipment
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite
Undertaking manual handling and physically demanding outdoor work
What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications and/or experience in horticulture, parks and gardens or landscaping
Experience operating a range of mowers and small plant equipment
Strong understanding of safe work practices and outdoor maintenance activities
A clear commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) systems
Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team
