The Role:

We are currently seeking 10 Personal Care Assistants to join our team at our Care Community Hudson House and Yallambee Lodge in Cooma, NSW.

Full-time positions (38 hours per week).

Expected commencement: Between September 2026 to June 2027 for ongoing work.

Shift times vary from Morning (7am start), Afternoon (2.30pm start) and Nights (2300pm start)

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive care team, providing personal care and assistance to our residents, guided by the senior clinical team. You will help with daily living activities, assist with meal delivery, monitor and record resident progress, and follow care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and lifestyle in line with their care plans.

• Complete allocated care duties as delegated by Registered or Enrolled Nurses.

• Assist with meal delivery, refreshments, and other care-related tasks.

• Record observations and document resident progress.

We’re Looking for Candidates Who Have:

• A relevant qualification or a willingness to undertake on-the-job training.

• A genuine interest in working in aged care.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.

• Ability to manage a varied and demanding workload.

• The capacity to work effectively as part of a team.

• Flexibility for shift work, including nights and weekends.

• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (we’ll assist you in obtaining this if necessary).

Hourly Rates:

• $33.00 per hour (unqualified) to $37.00 per hour (with Certificate III).

• Plus, penalty rates and applicable shift allowances, in line with our enterprise agreement.

• If required, 3-4 weeks of training will be offered at our Wangaratta Care Community, prior to relocating to this Care Community.
