Carpenter

WELDWORKS PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Carpenter for our client's construction industry (residential

homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces) across NSW in Australia. On a full-time basis, you will be part of a

multidisciplinary and well-supported team.

Title: Carpenter, Full-time position

Salary: A$ 90,000.00 to 98,000.00 plus super

Work Location: In person.

We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following:

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

• Valid driver’s license and own transport (preferred)

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Physical stamina and strength.

• Attention to detail and precision.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering plans to precisely measure, cut, and assemble

materials.

• Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, door frames, windows, cabinets, and

other wooden fixtures.

• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.

• Estimate materials, labor, and costs needed for carpentry projects and prepare detailed work plans.

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure the project specifications are met.

• Supervise and coordinate with junior carpenters and other workers on the job site.

• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy before final installation or handover.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment during and after the project completion.

• Troubleshoot and solve on-site problems quickly to keep projects on schedule.
