Wine Maker

Wine By Sam are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Wine Maker to join their team in Seymour VIC 3660.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Manage the timing and process of grape harvesting to ensure optimal quality.

- Supervise fermentation, aging, blending, and bottling processes.

- Ensure that wines meet quality standards and desired flavor profiles.

- Conduct sensory evaluations and chemical analyses to monitor and maintain wine quality.

- Work with vineyard managers to optimize grape quality and coordinate harvest schedules.

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for winemaking and labeling.

- Develop and refine wine products based on market trends and consumer feedback.

Skills and Abilities:

- Proficiency in winemaking processes, sensory evaluation, and chemical analysis.

- Perform tasks related to winemaking, including fermentation control, equipment cleaning, and maintenance.

- Oversee grape reception and processing during harvest

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Qualification in agriculture field or relevant experience.

Salary range is $75,000-$90,000pa commensurate with experience
