Location : Moama NSW

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000 a year.

EVEL-ONE PTY LTD trading as Border Inn Hotel is family owned and operated pub nestled in the heart of Moama. The award-winning restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, 7 days a week and has a motel, and a fully self-contained function and conference room.

Border Inn Hotel is currently looking for a hardworking and dedicated Cook (All Cook roles including Commi and Demi Chef) to join our team.

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Confidence in their cooking abilities

Preparation and presentation of all food items on the menu, ensuring the highest possible quality.

Ability to create dishes with consistency.

Skills in preparing different varieties of cuisine.

Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes.

Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements.

Train and manage junior cooks and kitchen staff.

Achieving all safety, hygiene, and food quality

To be considered for the position you must possess the following:

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Relevant qualifications Cert III or IV in commercial cookery

Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.

Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry.

Possess effective communication skills in an approachable manner.
