Qualified Chef

A stunning multi-purpose dining, conference, entertainment, and sporting venue, we are acknowledged along the Murray River as a leader in our industry. We are now recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic qualified chef to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing all food preparation and cooking duties

• Working across all sections of the kitchen including grills, pans, and fryers

• Ensuring consistency and portion control is adhered to

• Working in a fast-paced environment

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas using traditional Italian techniques and authentic wood fired pizza oven

• Maintain high standard of kitchen hygiene to exceed food safety standards

• General kitchen cleaning duties as required

Essential skills required:

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (and/or higher)

• Proven experience in a large high-volume commercial kitchen

• Experience in a 5 star hotel is strongly preferred

• Experience in food preparation and A La Carte service
