Position Overview

On behalf of Adseal Group, a respected specialist contractor providing high-quality waterproofing, concrete repair, and remedial building services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, we are conducting a search for a dedicated and skilled Renderer.

Position Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Prepare and organise work areas and materials for rendering, plastering, and concrete finishing activities on construction and remedial projects.

• Assess precast concrete panels and building surfaces to identify areas requiring surface preparation, repair, finishing, or protective treatment.

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching, filling, and conditioning them to ensure suitable adhesion and a consistent finished result.

• Apply rendering, plaster, cement-based products, and specialised finishing materials to walls, panels, ceilings, and other building surfaces in accordance with project requirements.

• Carry out detailed finishing work on precast concrete panels, including smoothing, profiling, blending, and correcting surface imperfections.

• Complete concrete repair and remedial finishing works to restore damaged or deteriorated surfaces and achieve the required appearance and durability.

• Perform grinding, polishing, sealing, grouting, and joint finishing associated with precast concrete and flooring works.

• Use hand tools, power tools, mixing equipment, and other construction equipment safely and effectively to achieve accurate and consistent finishes.

• Check completed work for alignment, surface quality, uniformity, and compliance with drawings, specifications, and site requirements, rectifying defects where necessary.

• Maintain safe and orderly work practices, including proper handling of materials, cleaning of equipment, and compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant qualifications in rendering, plastering, solid plastering, or a related construction trade.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.

• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Skilled in using rendering tools, plastering equipment, power tools, grinding equipment, and other construction machinery.

Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $80,000 – 90,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
