Retail Manager VIC

Phillip Riley is looking for an experienced Retail Manager to join our team.

As the successful retail manager, you will be responsible formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies and setting prices. promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services. selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use. maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.

Main tasks include:

• Manage daily operations: Oversee all aspects of the retail establishment's operations, including sales, staff, stock, and resources.

• Staff management: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

• Sales and marketing: Develop and implement marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.

• Financial management: Manage budgets, financial reporting, and analyze sales and economic data.

• Stock control: Determine product mix, stock levels, and service standards.

• Customer service: Address customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Policy and procedure: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.

• Supplier management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, and negotiate contracts and pricing.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
