About the Role:
The Playford Satellite Dialysis Unit at Lyell McEwin Health Service is looking for a skilled and caring Registered Nurse to step into an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) role - bringing clinical leadership to a dedicated team delivering renal dialysis care to patients across Adelaide's northern suburbs.
What You'll Be Leading
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide day-to-day operational and clinical leadership within the Playford Satellite Dialysis Unit. This is a full-time, ongoing position where your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and supporting nursing staff to deliver safe, evidence-based dialysis care
Coordinating patient flow, rostering, and unit operations in collaboration with the NUM
Acting as a clinical resource and mentor for less experienced team members
Contributing to quality improvement, accreditation activities, and unit-level policy implementation
What You Bring
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Demonstrated experience in renal dialysis nursing, including haemodialysis
Proven ability to lead a nursing team in a clinical setting, including performance support and conflict resolution
Strong understanding of patient safety frameworks and clinical governance within a public health context
Effective communication and organisational skills suited to a busy outpatient dialysis environment
Commitment to the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network's values of respect, integrity, and care
To be eligible for this position, you must be Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

Lyell McEwin Hospital - the major hospital in northern Adelaide for emergency care, complex and multi-day surgery, medicine, obstetric, paediatrics and outpatient services.
