This opportunity is with a leading Australian Defence consultancy delivering specialist capability and workforce solutions in partnership with the Department of Defence. You will join a high-profile Defence Capability System initiative focused on strengthening workforce capability, professionalisation and learning outcomes across a nationally significant program.

Your new role

As the Learning & Development Provider, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development and implementation of learning and capability initiatives that enable Defence personnel to effectively operate within the Defence Capability System environment.

Working closely with Defence stakeholders, subject matter experts and program teams, you will analyse learning requirements, develop engaging learning solutions and contribute to the ongoing uplift of workforce capability and professional development frameworks.

Key responsibilities will include:

Designing and developing learning and development solutions aligned to Defence capability objectives.

Conducting training needs analysis and identifying capability gaps

Developing learning materials, professionalisation frameworks and training artefacts.

Engaging with stakeholders across Defence to gather requirements and validate learning outcomes.

Supporting workforce capability uplift and continuous improvement initiatives.

Contributing to the successful delivery of a significant Defence capability program.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:

Strong Learning & Development, Training or Instructional Design experience.

Experience designing learning frameworks, capability programs or workforce development initiatives.

Proven stakeholder engagement skills within complex environments.

Experience working within Defence, Federal Government or other highly regulated organisations will be highly regarded.

The ability to translate complex concepts into practical and engaging learning solutions.

A current AGSVA NV1 security clearance.
