General Practice General Practice - Cowra

This is a locum doctor role for a General Practice Consultant at Cowra in NSW.

### Role Info

Qualifications/Experience • Advanced Life Support Level 2 within the last 3 years

Duties • Face-to-face or phone clinical handover with last doctor at 0730.

• Inpatient ward rounds from 0815 – 0930.

• Document daily ward rounds, provide medical care to inpatients, complete discharge summaries and review admitted patients as required.

• Provide medical care to hospital in the home patients.

• Complete contemporaneous and comprehensive clinical documentation in eMR.

• Participate in trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility.

• Check pathology and radiology results in the pooled medical results message centre ordered by any doctor, follow-up and document management plans for any results needed further action and review any patients returning for follow-up results.

• Training and supervision of students and junior medical officers.

• Participate in morbidity and mortality meetings, MDT meetings and other clinical meetings as requested.

• On-Call overnight for ward patients only until 2200.

Travel including Hire Car Organised by Agency with approval from WNSWLHD via Locum Email [email protected] ** Please note: Hire cars are difficult in obtaining after hours and on weekends, so it is preferable that all locums travel in standard business times where possible.
