Powder Coater is needed for a permanent role paying up to $80'000 + super, based in Forrestdale. Your new company A WA-based client who specialises in the Agricultural industry requires, for growth, a Powder Coater. Your new role

Typical Responsibilities

Preparing wheel rims and components for coating (cleaning, degreasing, masking).

Sandblasting or abrasive blasting surfaces to remove rust, scale, and old coatings.

Applying powder coat using electrostatic spray equipment.

Operating curing ovens to bake and harden the powder coating.

Conducting quality inspections for coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality.

Touching up defects and reworking components where required.

Following safety procedures relating to chemicals, PPE, and coating equipment.

Assisting with wheel assembly and general workshop duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience in powder coating, spray-painting, or industrial painting.

Sandblasting experience.

Ability to work with large steel wheels and heavy components.

Attention to detail and quality control.

Knowledge of surface preparation and coating processes.

Forklift ticket (often desirable in manufacturing environments)
