Boilermaker/ Welder

Your new company Hays is currently seeking experienced boilermakers / welders for ongoing opportunities with reputable manufacturing and engineering organisations across Adelaide. These positions offer stable work, competitive pay rates and the opportunity to work on a variety of fabrication and welding projects.

Working within a workshop environment, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling and welding structural steel and heavy industrial components while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Your new role

Fabrication and assembly of steel components from engineering drawings

MIG, TIG and Flux Core welding to a high standard

Structural steel and heavy fabrication work

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Grinding, finishing and quality checking completed work

Maintaining a safe and organised workspace

Working independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines

What you'll need to succeed

Trade qualification in Boiler making, Engineering Fabrication or equivalent

Proven experience in a fabrication and welding environment

Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Experience with MIG and Flux Core welding (TIG highly regarded)

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Strong safety awareness and work ethic

Desirable:

Forklift Licence

Overhead Crane Ticket

Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets

Experience with heavy fabrication or structural steel projects
