Mechanical Fitter

Your new company Hays is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for ongoing opportunities with leading manufacturing, industrial and engineering businesses across Adelaide. Working within maintenance and production environments, you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment. Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner

Install, assemble and commission machinery and production equipment

Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and schematics

Work on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, hydraulics and pneumatic systems

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Adhere to all safety and quality procedures

What you'll need to succeed
