Occupational Health and Safety Officer

Nu-Tank is a family-owned business that started in 2008, we supply superior products, deliver top tier customer service and most importantly give back to our community.

Nu-Tank manufactures polyethylene tanks, feeders and troughs. Retailing water tanks, molasses and dunder tanks, diesel storage tanks, transport, industrial tanks, firefighter units, wet and dry lick feeders, water and molasses troughs, pumps and accessories, round steel tanks and self-bunded tanks.

Nu-Tank is seeking Occupational Health and Safety Officer to join their team of professionals in a full-time and permanent.

The role includes but is not limited to:

Planning, managing and reviewing the performance of WHS programs

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures ensuring all staff adheres to its implementation

Further develop our current systems to improve the quality of our programs

Conducting safety briefings for staff and safety inspections of workplaces

Providing advice on work-related health and safety risks

Report, Investigate and help manage accidents

Ensure our workplace and staff complies with safety standards and legislation

Conduct training programs to staff on personal protective equipment and safe working procedures

Enforce safety policies and ensure all breaches are reported

The ideal person for this role must have:

Health and Safety degree or background

At least 5 years’ working experience in this role

Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise demands and multiple deadlines

Certificate in WHS is highly desirable but nor essential

Salary: $79,499 - $85,000 per year (negotiable depending on experience) + Super
