Painting Trades Workers

Australia Network Services PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Painting Trades Worker for our client's construction industry (residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces) in Sydney. On a full-time basis, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team.

Title: Painting Trades Worker, Full- time position

Salary: A$ 90,000.00 to 98,000.00 plus super

Work Location: In person.

We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following:

Requirements

Certificate 4 in painting and Decorating.

Proven experience as a Painting Trades Worker for at least 2 years.

Knowledge of technical skills and attention to detail.

Attention to detail and precision.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Surface Preparation: Knowledge of techniques to clean, sand, and prime surfaces before painting.

Application Techniques: Proficiency in applying different types of paint, varnish, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.

Colour Mixing: Ability to mix and match paint colours to achieve the desired shades and finishes.

Tool Maintenance: Understanding of how to maintain and store painting tools and equipment.

Lift and Carry Equipment: Ability to lift and carry heavy paint containers, ladders, and other equipment.

Dexterity: Fine motor skills for precise painting and detail work.

Quality Control: Ensuring that paint is applied evenly and surfaces are free from imperfections.

Finish Work: Attending to the finishing touches that enhance the overall appearance of the painted surfaces.

Protective Gear: Using masks, gloves, and other protective equipment to prevent exposure to harmful chemicals.

Work Environment: Ensuring proper ventilation and handling of hazardous materials.

Regulations: Adhering to safety standards and regulations set by occupational safety authorities.
