Dental Assistant – Experienced Applicants Only

We are a well-established dental clinic in Nundah looking for an experienced Casual Dental Assistant to join our friendly, supportive and stable team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys dental assisting, takes pride in their work and is looking for a long-term position with a practice they can become part of.

The role will initially be casual, offering approximately 2–3+ days per week, with some flexibility for occasional late-night shifts. For the right person, there is potential for the position to develop into a permanent role in the future.

Our clinic has a wonderful patient community, supportive and experienced dentists, and a team that values working well together. We are also conveniently located close to train stations and bus stops, making the commute easy.

About the Role

This is a varied role across both dental assisting and reception, including:

Chairside assisting across general dental procedures

Preparing surgeries and efficient room changeovers

Sterilisation and infection-control procedures

Instrument cleaning, packaging and sterilisation

Patient reception and appointment management

Answering phone enquiries and assisting with front-desk duties

Helping the dentists and wider team keep the clinic running smoothly

About You

We would love to hear from you if you:

Have previous dental assisting experience – this is not an entry-level position

Are confident with sterilisation, infection control and surgery routines

Have experience with dental reception and front-desk duties

Take pride in being a Dental Assistant and enjoy providing a high standard of patient care

Are looking for a stable, ongoing role.

Are reliable, organised and have good attention to detail

Communicate warmly and professionally with patients

Enjoy being part of a friendly and supportive team

Are available approximately 2–3+ days per week, with some flexibility for late-night shifts

Experience with D4W or D4Web is highly regarded.

What We Offer

$36.39–$38.29 per hour casual, depending on qualifications, classification and relevant experience

Applicable penalty rates where required
