Child Care Educator / Room Leader

We are currently seeking a full-time, dedicated, motivated and passionate Child Care Room Leader to take on the position in our team at our Noahs Ark Learning Academy in Botany. Pay: $73,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum.

The candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Lead a high-quality, play-based learning program aligned with EYLF and NQS

• Design and deliver engaging, child-led learning experiences

• Guide and mentor assistant educators within your room

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture

• Build strong relationships with children and families through open communication

• Support children’s development, wellbeing, and sense of belonging

• Contribute to continuous improvement, team meetings, and professional development

• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and highly motivated and have the following skills and experience:

• Must hold an ACECQA nationally approved diploma (or higher) education and care qualification

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Child Care Educator

• Full unrestricted Australian working rights

• Current, valid Working with Children's Check

• Current Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

• Good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

• Good computer skills in order to use our online programming software

• Availability to work any shift between 7.00am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
