Medical Receptionists

• Casual with opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate

• Monday to Friday – rostered shifts (minimum 4-hour shifts; maximum 8 hours)

About the Opportunity

We are looking for motivated and reliable Medical Receptionists and Administrators to join our friendly, supportive and professional dermatology practice.

If you enjoy working in a busy healthcare environment, have excellent communication skills and take pride in providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

Training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in a warm, friendly and professional manner

• Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries

• Book, confirm and coordinate appointments

• Process patient accounts and payments

• Prepare referrals, correspondence and medical documentation

• Provide administrative support to doctors and nursing staff

• Maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic

• Prepare consulting rooms as required

• Complete general administrative duties to support daily practice operations

About You

• Friendly, professional and well presented

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Confident using computers and willing to learn new systems

• Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment

• Reliable, punctual and a positive team player

• Willing to open or close the practice when rostered

• Flexible to assist with additional shifts when required to cover staff leave or illness

• Looking for a long-term opportunity

Knowledge of Gentu is an advantage, however full training can be provided.

Hours

• Monday to Friday

• Practice hours: 7:45am – 6:00pm

• Flexible rostered shifts (minimum 4 hours - maximum 8 hours)
