Blaster Painter

Apollo Fabrication Group is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Blaster Painter to join their team in Young NSW.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, repairing cracks, smoothing, and sealing surfaces

- Select and mix paints to required colors and finishes

- Apply paints, varnishes, and stains using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment

- Erect scaffolding and ladders and use protective coverings in work areas

- Hang wallpaper and match patterns where required

- Ensure work complies with quality and safety standards

- Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas

- Assist with minor repairs such as fixing woodwork or replacing glass when required

Skills and Experience

- AQF Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent) or minimum 3 years relevant work experience

- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- High attention to detail and quality workmanship

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience.

Fulltime Position available.
