Aluminium Welder / Fabricator

Hercules (Qld) Pty Ltd is seeking an aluminium welder / fabricator who is proficient in building tipper bins and possesses the ability to work unsupervised working a 9 day fortnight.

Previous experience is essential and a qualification in boilermaking or similar preferred.

Duties include:

Aluminium MIG welding

Marking and cutting of aluminium sheet and extrusion

Understanding and use of workshop tools eg; guillotine, saw, drillpress, 5" multicutter and overhead crane.

Must Have:

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job sheets

Pride in workmanship

Capable time management, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines and problem solve

Safety conscious, competent of WHS practices

Hours are 6am to 3.30pm with every second Friday off. Overtime available as required.

Above award wages - $35 - $45 per hour. Uniform will be provided upon completion of probation.

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
