Spray Painter / Vehicle Painter

We have Spray Painter /Vehicle Painter positions available across our various locations. Main duties involve spray painting and sand blasting a variety of road transport vehicles and equipment at our local workshops.

Salaries are dependent on skills & experience -

• Bruce Rock, WA, 6418 - From $85,000

• Forrestfield, WA, 6058 - From $79,500

• Geraldton, WA, 6530 - $85,000

• Port Hedland, WA, 6721 - $105,000

These positions are -

• Full Time Permanent

• Various rosters available

• Tool Allowance $35.00 paid fortnightly

• ASAP Start !

The key responsibilities for these roles include:

• Spray paint and sand blast road transport equipment.

• Preparing surfaces for paint application

• Mix and colour match paints to meet the requirements of the job.

• Brush touch, paint/blend any defective areas of coated items.

• Clean work areas and spray equipment.

• Good people and communication skills.

• Support and endorse the company vision, mission and family values.

• Meet deadlines & quality requirements to satisfy customer demand.

• Perform all duties whilst adhering to WHS requirements, & always with the correct use of PPE.

• Follow systems & procedures & complete paperwork.

Required skills and experience:

• Trade Qualification in Paint & Blast (preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in trailer/heavy duty vehicle spray painting/sandblasting

• Have a good knowledge & recognition of painting & blasting heavy duty vehicles

• Forklift ticket (high risk licence)

• Driving licence
