Stonemasons

Absolutely Marble - Us PTY LTD is a specialist stone manufacturer and installer. We are currently recruiting for experienced Stonemasons to join our team in Wangaratta VIC.

Successful applicants will need to possess and undertake:

- Replacing defective or missing stones on walls and structures

- Laying stones according to construction plans or project specifications

- Have a willingness to work

- Be punctual and responsible

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to read and interpret drawings to fine specifications

- Experience in handling a range of materials, including difficult materials

- Construction and repair of stone and large masonry slabs

- Cutting, shaping and installing polished stones using machines and hand tools to high accuracy

Skills & Attributes:

- At least 3 years work experience in stonework and installation

- Complete a Certificate III in Stonemasonry (Monumental/Installation)

- Visualization: able to envisage and implement aesthetic patterns in the design and construction of stone structures

- Physical Strength: able to lift and work with heavy tools and building materials

- Physical Stamina: perform the rigorous work task of lifting and aligning blocks for extended periods

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
