Construction Manager

1. Lead the planning, coordination and allocation of resources across construction projects to support timely, efficient and cost-effective delivery.

2. Review and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, specifications and other technical documentation to ensure project requirements are properly understood and implemented.

3. Coordinate the procurement, scheduling and delivery of construction materials, plant, equipment and other resources required for project activities.

4. Liaise and collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, trades personnel, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders throughout the construction process.

5. Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs, quality standards and risks, and take appropriate action to address delays, variations or other project issues.

6. Prepare and coordinate tenders, quotations, contract proposals and other commercial documentation, and participate in negotiations with relevant stakeholders.

7. Ensure construction activities comply with applicable legislation, building requirements, contractual obligations, industry standards, quality requirements and workplace health and safety requirements.

8. Coordinate the preparation and submission of plans, documents and applications to relevant local authorities and arrange required inspections, approvals and certifications.

9. Lead and manage project teams, subcontractors and trades personnel, including monitoring performance, progress, workmanship, resources and compliance with project requirements.

10. Develop, implement and monitor project plans, programs and milestones, manage project changes and risks, and ensure that projects remain aligned with the Employer's strategic objectives, contractual requirements and intended outcomes.
