Salary - $79,500 to $82,000 plus Super

Minimum requirement

Minimum Diploma in relevant field

Relevant experience of at least 1 year

Roles and Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day activities and routines of residents within a group residential accommodation setting.

Support the smooth operation of the residence by coordinating daily schedules, communal routines and organised activities.

Organise and facilitate group recreational, social and leisure activities to encourage resident participation and interaction.

Assist residents to participate in group programs, community events, outings and recreational activities.

Coordinate shared mealtimes, including basic meal preparation, food service and maintaining orderly dining areas.

Monitor the general residential environment and report maintenance, safety or facility-related issues to the appropriate supervisor.

Provide practical assistance to residents with routine accommodation-related matters and activities within the residential environment.

Encourage positive interaction, cooperation and participation among residents within the group living environment.

Maintain accurate daily records relating to resident activities, attendance, incidents and general residential matters.

Communicate with supervisors and other residential staff regarding daily routines, activities, operational matters and issues arising within the residence.

Follow workplace procedures relating to health and safety, emergency management, privacy, confidentiality and the effective operation of the residential facility.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a group residential environment.

Good organisational and time-management skills.

Ability to coordinate and facilitate group activities.

Ability to maintain accurate records and daily documentation.

Ability to follow workplace policies, procedures and safety requirements.

Ability to manage multiple routine tasks within a residential environment.
