Position: Motor Mechanic

Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)

Salary: $74,000 - $85,000 per annum + superannuation (based on skills and experience)

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be required to:

• Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle systems

• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking, and fuel systems

• Perform routine servicing and maintenance to manufacturer specifications

• Test, adjust, and replace defective parts and components

• Use diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs

• Maintain service records and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards

Skills and Experience Required

• Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)

• Minimum 2-3 year relevant experience

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of Australian automotive safety and quality standards
