About Physiocorp
Physiocorp is an Australian allied health provider delivering physiotherapy and multidisciplinary health services across aged care and community settings.
We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team and provide safe, effective and evidence-based physiotherapy services to optimise movement, function, independence and quality of life for our clients.
The Role
You will provide physiotherapy services across residential aged care and community settings and work collaboratively with clients, families, carers, aged care staff and other health professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments.
Developing individualised treatment plans.
Providing exercise therapy, manual therapy, rehabilitation, mobility and balance training and pain management.
Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans.
Promoting injury prevention, mobility, independence and self-management.
Identifying clinical risks and referring to other health professionals where appropriate.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reports.
Participating in case conferences and coordinated care planning.
Communicating effectively with clients, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams.
Participating in CPD, supervision, peer review and quality improvement activities.
Essential Criteria
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Demonstrated competence in physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
Capacity to work across multiple sites, including aged care and community settings.
Desirable
Experience in aged care and/or community physiotherapy.
Familiarity with clinical documentation systems and outcome measures.
Work Environment
This is a hands-on clinical role involving manual therapy, therapeutic exercise facilitation and patient mobility assistance.
Travel between the Physiocorp head office, contracted aged care facilities and community locations may be required.
