Imaan Transport Pty Ltd Key Responsibilities Safely manoeuvre and position company vehicles at depots, customer premises and designated loading or unloading areas to facilitate efficient collection and delivery of goods. Load and unload freight, parcels and other goods using appropriate lifting, handling and tipping equipment where required, ensuring correct handling procedures are followed. Follow workplace health and safety requirements and established loading and unloading procedures to minimise risks to personnel, vehicles, freight and surrounding property.

Conduct regular pre-start and operational inspections of assigned vehicles, including checking tyres, lights, brakes and other safety-related components, to ensure vehicles remain safe and roadworthy. Assess and monitor the weight of freight being transported to ensure vehicle load limits are not exceeded and loads are distributed appropriately for safe vehicle operation. Arrange, restrain and secure goods appropriately within or on the vehicle, using suitable restraints and coverings where required, to prevent movement, loss or damage during transportation.

Review and verify delivery dockets, consignment records and other transport documentation against the goods being collected or delivered and inspect freight for visible damage or discrepancies. Obtain appropriate confirmation, signatures or proof of delivery from customers or receiving parties upon successful delivery of goods. Report any vehicle defects, damaged goods, load discrepancies or delivery issues to the appropriate supervisor and follow company procedures for recording and resolving such matters.

Qualifications & Experience AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4).
