CarePathways Australia is part of Howden Insurance Brokers (Australia), a fast-growing global insurance group with a strong presence in Australia. We provide meaningful allied health support to children, young people and families in practical, supportive ways. Part of the Howden Broking Group, the world's largest privately owned insurance broker, headquartered in London, since launching Howden in the Pacific region in March 2021, we have grown from a team of three to over 600 employees across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

We're growing our speech pathology team and are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and families and wants the backing of a supportive, stable and growing global organisation.

Our mantra is to be People First. We believe you can teach someone new skills, but not how to be a different person. We offer a chance to join a rapidly growing business at an exciting time, with a genuinely collegiate culture and highly engaged team.

We're seeking a Speech Pathologist who is looking to grow their career within a supportive multidisciplinary team. Joining Care Pathways Australia in a full-time capacity, you'll benefit from regular supervision, ongoing professional development, strong operational support and a positive team culture, while making a meaningful impact on the lives of clients and their families.

We provide meaningful allied health support to children, young people and families, helping them achieve positive outcomes through practical, evidence-based care. As part of a larger global organisation, we combine the benefits of a supportive local team with the resources, stability and opportunities of an established business.

The Opportunity

Based in Southeast Melbourne, you'll provide evidence-based Speech Pathology services across a varied caseload, working with clients in homes, schools, early learning settings and the community.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering evidence-based Speech Pathology services across a diverse caseload.

Conducting assessments, intervention planning and clinical reporting.

Collaborating with families, educators and other professionals.

Working closely with our multidisciplinary team across Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Psychology.

Managing your own diary and caseload with strong clinical, administrative and operational support.

Let's Talk About You

We'd love to hear from you if you:

Hold a recognised Speech Pathology qualification and relevant professional membership.

Are passionate about supporting children, young people and families.

Value teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Are committed to ongoing learning and professional development.

Can work independently while remaining connected to a supportive team.

Have experience in NDIS, paediatrics or community allied health, or an interest in developing within these areas.

We welcome applications from both experienced Speech pathologists and clinicians earlier in their career.

You'll also hold (or be willing to obtain):

Working With Children Check.

NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Why Join Howden?

When you join Howden, you become part of a team that is genuinely proud of the difference we make every day. Our consultants are united by a commitment to quality, integrity, and client-centred care - and the exceptional outcomes we consistently achieve are a testament to this culture.

You'll enjoy:
