Cellar Door Manager

TYWC Pty Ltd This is a hands-on management position responsible for the effective operation of the cellar door, including staff leadership, customer service, sales performance, stock control, compliance and events. The role will work closely with the Head of Hospitality and broader winery team to ensure the cellar door operates efficiently and reflects the standards of the Cherubino brand. We are seeking an experienced Cellar Door Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cellar door.

Key responsibilities include: Planning, organising and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cellar door Leading, supervising, rostering and training cellar door staff Monitoring staff performance and maintaining high service standards Ensuring a consistently high-quality visitor and customer experience Managing wine tastings, cellar door service and direct-to-customer sales activities Managing bookings, tour groups, functions, weddings and other cellar door events Monitoring customer feedback and resolving service issues or complaints Developing and maintaining operational procedures and service standards Monitoring sales performance, revenue, expenditure and operational budgets.

About you The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience in cellar door, hospitality or comparable venue management Demonstrated experience supervising and leading staff in a hospitality environment Strong knowledge of cellar door operations, wine service and customer experience Experience with rostering, staff training and performance management Experience managing stock, inventory, cash handling and POS systems Understanding of operational budgets, revenue management and sales performance Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy hospitality environment Current RSA certification , or the ability to obtain one A strong interest in wine, hospitality and premium customer experiences About Company Cherubino Wines is an established premium wine and hospitality group operating in one of Australia’s most renowned wine regions.
