As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional maintenance and repair services for our clients' industrial equipment. In this full-time role, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our customers' operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties:
Conducting on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of a variety of industrial equipment and machinery
Performing brake and hydraulic power unit overhauls in workshop
Performing preventative maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance
Documenting all work completed and providing detailed reports to the technical team
Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge and staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments
Fostering strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements
Collaborating with the wider team to resolve complex technical issues
Working off-site / remotely for up to 3 weeks per month
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 2 years trade experience with hydraulic systems or conveying braking systems
Has Mechanical or Hydraulic certification 3 (or higher) in a related field
Demonstrated experience as a field service technician or on-site maintenance industry (fixed or mobile plant)
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and understandable manner
A willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
A valid driving licence and the ability to travel to various job sites
Prefer FMG, BHP, RIO or HIO valid site card or completed inductions
