About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Roof Plumber to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of roof plumbing and roofing works across commercial projects. This includes installation of metal roof systems, box gutters, downpipes, flashings and wall cladding. This is a hands-on role suited to a reliable and safety-conscious tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

· Install metal roof plumbing systems.

· Install box gutters, downpipes, flashings, valleys, cappings and other roof plumbing components.

· Carry out roof inspections and identify leaks, damage, defects, and required repairs.

· Install and maintain stormwater and roof drainage systems.

· Measure, cut, shape, and install roofing and associated materials accurately.

· Read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and measurements.

· Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and building requirements.

· Work safely at heights and follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

· Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, access equipment, and other roofing equipment.

· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite.

· Communicate professionally with supervisors, builders, contractors, and customers.

· Identify and report any variations, defects, or site issues to management.

· Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality, safety, and attention to detail.

Skills & Experience

· Certificate III in Roof plumbing or relevant trade qualification.

· Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Roof Plumber or in a similar roofing role.

· Strong practical knowledge of metal roof plumbing, roofing systems, gutters, downpipes, flashings, and drainage.

· Experience working on commercial and/or residential metal roofing projects.

· Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.

· Good understanding of Australian building standards and workplace health and safety requirements.

· Experience working safely at heights.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

· Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

· Good communication and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· Physically fit and capable of performing manual work and working at heights.

· Current driver's licence and reliable transport.

· White Card.

· Working at Heights and EWP certification or willingness to get one.
