Hays are partnering with a well-established shopfitting contractor known for delivering quality retail, commercial, hospitality, and office fit-outs across Adelaide. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we are seeking an experienced shopfitter to join their team.

Your new role

As a Shopfitter, you will be responsible for the installation and assembly of commercial fit-outs, joinery, cabinetry, fixtures, and fittings across a variety of projects. Working alongside a skilled team, you will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

Installing commercial joinery, cabinetry, and fixtures

Reading and interpreting plans and drawings

Shop and retail fit-out installations

Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials

Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

Completing general shopfitting and carpentry duties

Maintaining a safe and organised worksite

Delivering quality workmanship within project timeframes

What you'll need to succeed

Previous shopfitting experience (Essential)

Carpentry qualification or relevant carpentry experience highly regarded

White Card (Essential)

Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings

Experience using a range of hand and power tools

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
